Talent Acquisition Lead – Technology
Fixed-Term Contract for 12 months
£47,000 - £52,000 per annum
Dual location (Home and London office)
Preference for September start
Do you have experience working in a recruitment agency or in-house Talent Acquisition team supporting mid to senior level hires across the technology space? Would you be proud to work for an organisation that supports those at the most vulnerable times of their lives? If so, we’d really like to hear from you.
At Macmillan, we understand how important it is that our workforce is representative of the people we support, and who support us. We strive to ensure that every individual is empowered to bring their best to work, and that’s why we offer flexibility in our working locations, hours and a range of benefits, to ensure we support you in your life and career ambitions. This role can be ‘dual location’ – working from home, with 1+ days a week in the office and Macmillan has flexible start and finish times.
We try to spend every penny we raise on supporting people living with cancer. With this in mind, our award-winning Talent Acquisition team established a focused in-house executive search service to support senior hiring managers and lessen our reliance on fee-based recruitment agencies. With one of our team on a secondment, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to continue the success of this team, and to continue to define its future approach to sourcing, inclusive recruitment, early careers and much more, along with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
About the role
You will lead the whole end-to-end search process in this client-facing, consultative role, providing outstanding levels of service to hiring managers across the organisation and at all levels, including the Executive team. You will have experience recruiting across roles within the technology sector. You will manage relationships directly with candidates and utilise your experience of a commercial mix of sourcing methods to develop a pipeline of talented candidates for each search or talent pooling exercise. Furthermore, you will act as an expert and thought leader in Talent Acquisition, leveraging external and internal market insights and best practice to advise key stakeholders.
You will bring executive search and sourcing experience, preferably across corporate functions across an organisation, from either a leading recruitment agency or in-house Talent Acquisition function. You have seen the whole end-to-end search process, bring solid researching abilities, and are comfortable engaging candidates and stakeholders of all levels. You are curious, driven and an efficiency-focused team player, with an eye for quality in the output of your work. Finally, you are energised to further your personal development and welcome opportunities to learn from across the Talent Acquisition team.
