The Macular Society is working to deliver our ultimate ambition – to Beat Macular Disease for the next generation. We are determined to end the fear and isolation of macular disease with world-class research and the best advice and support.
We run a busy Advice and Information line, Counselling Service, fund research, campaign for improvements and provide volunteer-delivered services. We have over 400 local peer support groups across the UK and more launch each year. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Services team working with our support groups and volunteers. This position will recruit, train, develop and support local Macular Society groups and volunteers across The Western and Southern Health and Social Care Trust areas. Your important role will be to help us strengthen our network in these Trust areas.
You will have access to a car for regular travel.
Please be aware that this position will require a standard CRB check.
This role will require frequent travel throughout Northern Ireland (and occasionally across the UK).
