A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to work as Head of Operations/ Chief Operations Officer in an influential charity that supports schools in starting, expanding and optimising their breakfast provision with the aim that no child is too hungry to learn.
We are looking for a new Chief Operations Officer/Head of Operations to join our Senior Leadership team and lead the Operations team that brings Infrastructure, Governance, Finance, HR, Logistics and Food supply together. The successful candidate will ensure that the charity continues being able to deliver a competitive and cost-effective offering to schools by leading the following key functions in a way that simplifies and standardises processes, continuously improves delivery and maintains efficient and compliant systems and procedures.
A newly created role, the successful candidate will strategically support the CEO and use their business skills to positively impact operational delivery. In exciting role, not only will you be operating at a senior level partnering with the CEO, you will proficiently lead a multi-functional team. You will have a clear focus to develop and implement strategies.
In this high-profile role, you will work in collaboration with a range of key stakeholders, from end users of finance, HR, logistical services through to Trustees. As part of the Senior Management team you will bring business acumen to decision-making and will be a key member of the team. You will have experience of finance management, managing HR processes and project management and thrive on managing CRM/System databases as well as working against targets.
The successful candidate will have excellent business skills and carry experience supporting and developing strategic operational planning processes in complex environments.
