Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator to join our team in London, UK.

MC is looking for an individual who will bring excellent communication skills, a drive to deliver high level service as well as a developing procurement knowledge to our organisation. As part of the HQ Operations team the Procurement Coordinator is in a crucial position across the global work of MC, providing essential support and guidance to country and field based teams, with future opportunities to visit and work with the teams in person. This role will best suit an individual who wants to apply their previous experience in the international development sector to contribute to strengthen MCs procurement systems and capacity building, whilst embedding value for money approaches where appropriate.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A recognised qualification in Procurement
  • Experience in working in a procurement role in an international organisation
  • Experience with writing high value Requests for Proposal and Purchase Contract documents
  • Experience in managing international procurement, ensuring pharmaceutical quality assurance, incoterms,
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) in English
  • Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in
  • Strong MS Excel skills
