At CAZK, we use art as a driving force to bring communities together from different age ranges, walks of life and social, and cultural backgrounds, with a strong emphasis on community cohesion, integration and well-being.

We design and deliver art projects, activities, and workshops that value, encourage and engage people in the community, allowing them to express themselves more effectively and communicate their ideas in a creative way. Our workshops and projects cover a broad range of techniques, and we work with creative practitioners and artists from across the world and from a variety of creative disciplines. Examples include fine art, mixed media, photography, traditional and contemporary methods, textiles, environmental artists, installation, and sculpture.

While this role will work across all CAZK projects the majority of time will be spent on 'Healing Arts for All' (HAFA), a large-scale, three-year heritage project that will engage Pendle's diverse communities in a wide range of activities including photography, textiles, film, sculpture, sound walks etc.

Principle Tasks and Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and the team, you will lead on developing and managing creative art programmes, projects, activities, and events.

• Maintain and develop relationships among key partner organisations,local businesses, creatives, and host steering group meetings to develop new ideas and plans to progress and enhance the organisation, building communication and providing regular feedback. 

• Work with the CEO to develop annual organisational and project budgets, and manage ongoing programme budgets to ensure they are delivered as agreed within set budgets and timescales. 

• Research, implement and monitor programme and project plans, liaising with collaborators, partners, the community and artists. 

• Produce reports to ensure that relevant stakeholders are fully and consistently informed and updated about the progress of creative projects. 

• Determine and monitor the human and physical resources needed for the programmes/projects and ensure that they are available at the appropriate time. 

• Ensure effective marketing and publicity for programmes and projects. 

• Day to day project and personnel management, including staff and artists’ contracts, and project risk assessments. 

• Attend events, projects, and meetings on behalf of Community Arts by ZK, where appropriate. 

• Prepare and submit prompt reports, planning documents and information required by funders/clients with regards to service level agreements and any other contractual/grant funded obligations. 

• Ensure appropriate systems are in place for monitoring information required by funders and to ensure that all contracted staff are fully briefed as to their responsibilities in respect of monitoring information. 

• Maintain and update internal databases in order that data integrity is maintained and information is consistent across the data platforms. 

• Monitor and assess available funding opportunities, and work alongside the CEOto submit funding applications and tender submissions. 

• Develop new partnerships across Lancashire and Pendle to maximise existing and potential funding/tender opportunities

• General Responsibilities: 

• Ensure a high standard of professional conduct in dealing with other services and members of the public. 

• Contribute to the update of Community Arts by ZK policies and procedures in line with best practice. 

• Undertake training considered necessary to fulfil your role and responsibilities.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individuals to join our fundraising team as a Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer. In this role, you will play a vital role in researching and applying to grant applications in order to help the team raise as much funding as possible to support people experiencing homelessness across London.

About the role:

As the Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for maximising income from Trusts and Foundations in order to support SHP’s charitable activities. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and alongside the fundraising team, you will contribute towards the delivery of achieving SHP's overarching vision of a society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life.

In your role, you will be responsible for building and delivering a successful Trusts and Foundations portfolio by focusing on:

• Maximising income from grant-giving organisations to ensure sustainable growth of restricted and unrestricted fundraising.
• Working strategically to build high-impact, high-value relationships with grant funders as well as managing relationships with existing donors.
• Collaborating with teams across the organisation to create compelling fundraising proposals and produce high-quality reports and budgets.
• Proactively maintaining excellent knowledge of Trusts and Statutory fundraising practices in the sector.

Please note the role will follow a hybrid working model, with some days working in our head office in Kings Cross, with ample opportunity to work from home. 

About you: 

• Highly numerate and attentive to detail, with strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically. 
• Entrepreneurial, results-driven and able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team, meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Experience of writing bids or applications including any key successes.
• Experience working with other internal departments to maximise collaboration and impact between the teams.
• Experience building and managing relationships with external funders, including in depth research of funders.

Senior Housing Officer

CVAA UK is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit organisations across the UK who specialise in adoption services. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. The programme has developed a strong reputation for attracting a range of subject experts to deliver cost effective, engaging and useful training. Due to a restructure of the team, we are now looking for a Training Manager who can oversee the delivery of the programme from mid to late July 2024. Initially fixed term, it is anticipated that this post will become permanent.

The Training Manager will work with the Head of Practice Development and the Programme Administrator to ensure that the courses are full, delivered effectively and evaluated. Part of the role will also be to source new trainers and support the creation of the programme into 2025.

The CVAA team work remotely across the UK so location of the postholder is not a barrier to recruitment as long as long as they can travel occasionally and come into London for team days. The team is small, diverse and dynamic. Experience of project management or delivery of training or events is more important than knowledge of adoption or children's social care. With 20 new people in the UK diagnosed with kidney disease every day, the need for information and advice from a trusted, understanding source is bigger than ever. The Kidney Care UK Helpline is a new national service to support people online, on the phone and by email at the point they need support.

About the role
As Senior Health Officer: Knowledge Management and Communication, you will be responsible for the knowledge management and MEAL functions for the health team. This will include collection, collation and dissemination of learning and evidence from across key country and donor markets. You will also be responsible for the dissemination and communication through various platforms, social media outlets. Within this role you will play a key role in highlighting both internally and externally the health team's achievements and keep the Movement updated on the impact they have had both in the UK and globally, while also reporting on all active grants and partnerships. You will get to work closely with all technical advisors and play an important role in the production of the team's publications as well as in organising policy advocacy events at the UK parliamentary and global levels.

In this role, you will: 

• Lead on the learning, reporting and communications for the health team, including on the various advocacy projects, grants and workstreams.
• Play a leading role in editing the health team's reports and policy briefing documents, including any research, fact-checking or writing that is required.
• Lead on updating and maintaining the health team's web pages. While maintaining brand requirements.
• Deliver high-quality editorial content for a wide range of planned key corporate communications, in line with the organisation's priorities and brand, implementing Save the Children's editorial style and standards.
• Ensure health team develop quality materials, blogs and thought pieces, while implementing our brand positioning, communications guidelines, and house style.

About you
To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Demonstrable experience of high-quality health policy advocacy work, including writing and editorial skills.
• Experience of working with a range of partners to engage key policy stakeholders.
• Ability to write compelling, imaginative copy tailored for different audiences, explain complex issues in accessible and motivating language.
• Ability to research, absorb and retain information accurately and to lead publication projects where necessary.
• Experience of writing for the internet and other digital outlets. Understanding of basic web processes and ability to perform basic alterations to our website where necessary or liaise with developers to progress these.

We are looking for a creative, compassionate and enthusiastic leader who can help us not only reach but exceed our goals for this project and be the nurturing force to help Roots to Wellbeing develop and grow. 

Roots to Wellbeing project aims:

• Provide a safe and inclusive space for participants to receive weekly support.
• Help participants to connect with nature and socialise with others to feel happier, less anxious and less isolated.
• Support participants to access other beneficial services, where appropriate, including health, social and financial.
• Support participants to move onto outdoor work or volunteering with friends of groups where appropriate.
• Facilitate a positive journey through the service for participants to ensure as many people as possible can access the service.

The role 

The roles has four main areas of work:

1. Leadership and management:

• Lead the Roots to Wellbeing team to reach its goals. 
• Line manage and support three Mental Health Officers, each delivering Roots to Wellbeing on one site.
• Work with local communities and other team members to explore new opportunities for the project and develop solutions.
• Work with CEO and Head of Fundraising to secure funding for project development.

2. Project management: 

• Oversee the delivery and development of the project to meet key KPIs.
• Collate qualitative and quantitative data and produce impact reports for funders. 
• Support team to ensure administrative records are kept up to date, including but not limited to: maintaining accurate participant records, work programme, incident reporting, risk management, external outreach, website.
• Develop a thorough communications strategy and build on current local referral relationships to further embed the programme within the VCSE & Health sector.
• Ensure service standard and quality is consistent across sites and policies and procedures are followed. 
• Recruit and induct volunteers to support session delivery.
• Work in partnership with stakeholders within and across the organisation to deliver project goals.
• Attend networking meetings and community events to raise awareness of the project and demonstrate its impact. 

3. Session delivery at Hartcliffe Millennium Green: 

• Continually build and maintain relationships with local referral partners to achieve a consistent referral rate into the project. 
• Deliver weekly Roots to Wellbeing sessions by; planning and facilitating delivery of sessions and activities in line with 5 pathways to nature connectedness and that are accessible to all participants, organising logistics of sessions such as travel, food and equipment, acting as safeguarding lead during sessions, liaising with co-facilitator, leading peer-support style check in at the beginning of the sessions and the grounding and meditation at the end.
• Lead on all direct communication with participants at Hartcliffe Millennium Green. Support them to create personalised development plans, signposting and referrals where needed. 

4. Other: 

• Support the work of the wider charity and specifically the South Bristol team as required. 
• Representing the charity externally through media work and presentation where necessary.

This role will lead on providing senior technical advice, leadership and guidance to the planning, delivery and monitoring of communications activities across the organisation.

The successful candidate will join our existing communications team and support our communications and engagement. This role will lead on providing senior technical advice, leadership and guidance to the planning, delivery and monitoring of communications activities across the organisation. This includes supporting on elements of our communication activities; newsletter creation, website maintenance, graphic design and social media.

We are looking for someone with a creative eye, good interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail who can communicate effectively. A key part of the role will involve exploring and implementing a data visualisation tool to efficiently monitor and review the reach and effectiveness of Action Hampshire’s communications (including social media platforms, newsletter, website hits and publication downloads, event attendance).
