Duties of the role

To facilitate exchanges of information (letterbox and virtual communication) for the child between their birth family and their adopted family to enable the child to feel accepted within their new family whilst enabling him/her to feel comfortable in acknowledging their identity and giving them reassurances about their birth family.

To assist with finances and the paying and tracking of invoices and other payments associated with the adoption team.

To work as part of the wider Adoption administration team to support the smooth and efficient day to day running of the Adoption office (Hillingdon),

To work alongside the adoption social workers assisting them with their roles of both family finding and post adoption support as needed.

Job Summary for Volunteering Assistant

The Volunteering Assistant supports the Head of Volunteering in delivering the organisation’s strategy by strengthening volunteer management, engagement, and development. Working across departments, the role ensures smooth day-to-day volunteering operations, supports both volunteers and role managers, and contributes to projects that enhance the overall volunteer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the volunteering function, including managing the volunteering inbox and maintaining accurate data

About this role

As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery, and evaluation of projects that help bring the Carers First Strategy to life—enabling us to reach more carers and improve the support we provide. This role is funded through the National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund as a Fixed Term contract for the life of the project until September 2028.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you will:

Main purpose of the job

• To support the organisation’s day-to-day finance, HR and impact data administration. This includes maintaining and strengthening financial controls, contributing to monthly and year-end financial processes, and supporting with finance/HR reports as required.

Main Tasks

Finance Administration and Financial Control

1. Process income sales invoices, grant claims and associated receipts and payments, ensuring timely receipt of all revenue.

2. Process purchase ledger invoices and associated payments.

3. Calculate accruals, prepayments and internal recharges.

4. Complete bank reconciliations.

5. Maintain and update the organisation’s asset register.

6. Maintain project files in line with funding guidelines.

7. Record cash account transactions, including weekly cash issues to relevant budget holders, ensuring all returns comply with financial procedures.

8. Monitor individual budgets and highlight any issues or concerns to the appropriate colleagues.

9. Liaise with the charity’s auditors and provide information required to support the annual audit.

10.  Assist in the design, management and co-ordination of appropriate finance and administrative systems as required.

We are seeking a Relationship Fundraiser.  This is an exciting and varied role incorporating developing corporate partnerships, supporting volunteer fundraisers, organising fundraising events, and building relationships with community groups.

Sight Support West of England exists to reduce the impact of sight loss, supporting blind and partially sighted people across the county to lead independent lives and to secure equal access to services.

Airplay is a national youth work programme delivered on behalf of the RAF Benevolent Fund (RAFBF). It provides engaging, supportive, and fun opportunities for children and young people from RAF families.

The programme includes: Airplay Youth Clubs for ages 8–18, Ben Clubs for children aged 5–7 & Airplay Connect, a digital platform supporting young people across the RAF community.

Delivered by OneYMCA through a partnership of eight YMCAs and in collaboration with the RAF People and Families team, Airplay supports young people who may face unique challenges, including frequent relocations. Your Role: This is a Lead Youth Worker Role - the job description says "Assistant Station Youth Worker" - Reporting to the Senior Station Youth Worker at RAF Brize Norton, you will support the delivery and coordination of a wide range of outreach and centre-based youth work activities for young people aged 5–18, in line with the Airplay Handbook.

We wish to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and outgoing Young Carers Youth Worker in North Oxfordshire, who, as a member of the team, will provide support to young carers and plan and deliver a varied programme of social activities and trips, working directly with young carers. Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide one-to-one support for Young Carers, liaising with other agencies to help ensure the best outcomes for Young Carers;

· Establish relationships with schools across North Oxfordshire offering them support in how they identify and respond to the needs of young carers in their classrooms.

· Assist schools in launching Young Carers Groups and introducing Young Carer Leads in their settings.

· Contribute towards awareness raising events and activities to increase the identification and support of Young Carers, including liaison with Schools and community group;

· Record all casework contact information and ensure that all appropriate consent forms, assessments, Baseline Forms, and other required information and administration is completed and recorded for all Young Carers;

· Ensure all tasks, procedures, and practices comply with Be Free Young Carers’ policies, including safeguarding and child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and equal opportunities;

·        Set up and run a monthly youth club to support young carers socialisation.
