Research
- Research and identify prospective trusts and foundations and other grant giving bodies
- Grow and maintain a strong trust funding pipeline, creating new trust prospects for our priority funding areas
Fundraising
- Identify and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects and opportunities which have the potential of delivering five and six figure grants.
- Work with colleagues across Auditory Verbal UK to develop and submit high-value and high-quality trust and foundation bids, creating a compelling narrative, budget and outcomes for a range short, medium and long term projects towards our vision
- Develop personalised relationships with Trust and Foundation trustees and trust administrators, maximising every opportunity for cultivation and development
- Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view AVUK’s work first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met
- Represent AVUK at face-to-face meetings with donors and prospects, successfully engaging them with the charities aims and objectives
Reporting

Job Purpose
This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is an out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. The service operates 365 days a year from 12:00 (midday)-11:30pm across all of our boroughs.
Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone on a one-to-one or group basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis.

- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in HFEH.

The Role
The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one and group basis. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service.

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join the Healthy Lives team. Working with the Programme Manager, the post holder will support the team by project managing a variety of projects and short-term grants, tracking progress and spend against the business plan, commissioning and managing suppliers as needed. He/she will also support workstream leads with corporate planning and reporting against strategic objectives working in line with organisational guidance.
The successful candidate will have experience of project management and reporting, have excellent organisational, planning and communication skills and be solutions focused. He/she will possess an ethos for continual improvement and is expected to make suggestions and drive forward process improvements within the team. Strong interpersonal skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, fast paced environment are essential.

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager it is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Shop Manager in Scope's brand new Fulham shop (Opening shortly). You’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. You will have experience of working in a senior role in the areas of operations, HR and governance. Responsibilities include:
HR & Training
- Lead the organisation’s HR function, keeping abreast of latest guidance in employment law and HR legislation and act as the lead liaison with Croner external HR support;
- Ensure employment practice is legally compliant and fair (including management of recruitment, selection and onboarding, flexible working, diversity & equal opportunity, disciplinary/grievance, termination), with a focus on being a fully inclusive employer;
- Oversee monthly staff salary payment and coordinate with external payroll provider;

Salesforce Admin
- To be the main point of contact for technical support and training needs for core users, and to develop the Salesforce platform to improve organisational efficiency, relationship management and income generation. Training will be provided to support this role.
- Act as the system administrator and manage admin functions including assigning new users, creating reports, dashboards, surveys and application forms etc;
- Onboard and train new users, and grow level of expertise among the core team;
- Implement custom features when new work streams/programmes are set up and as organisational needs grow;
- Oversee support partnership with external technical support and training provider.

Governance and Strategy

Venue Management
MIH has a part time Venue Manager who is responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the ‘Liberty Hall’ kitchen venue. The Operations Manager will oversee them and support on key areas of venue management in the following ways:
- Manage relationship with venue partner ‘Clapton Commons’ to ensure key services of venue are running smoothly and represent MIH in oversight committee meetings;
- Ensure venue and office equipment is safe to use and repaired/replaced/PAT tested in a timely manner;
- Ensure venue meets latest Health & Safety requirements, Fire Safety Standards and is fully accessible;
- Support acquisition of new kitchen equipment when required, such as ovens, hobs etc either from a donated source or purchased from a supplier;
Finance
- Organise quarterly budget meetings between core delivery team and Finance Manager to go through budget and expenditure;

We have an exciting opportunity here at Barnardo's for an experienced, enthusiastic, and assertive Team Manager to deliver the day-to-day operational delivery of the In Reach Hospital Emergency Department Family Support Programme.
The role is part time working 18.5 hours per week and will be based at North Middlesex University Hospital, the entrance to the A & E department is in Bridport Road, Edmonton, London, N18 1QX.
The successful candidate will work as part of the onsite clinical team to develop and nurture key relationships both within the direct delivery of the project and the wider system support which is available.
Some but not all of the key responsibilities are:
- Identify key personnel within the Emergency Department and liaise effectively with them to ensure Family Support Worker teams are embedded within the clinical setting.
- Map and work with wider stakeholders locally and ensure Family Support Workers are aware of local services and assets to effectively signpost / connect families with appropriate support.

The In Reach Hospital Emergency Department Family Support
Programme model offers a robust way of supporting often vulnerable families to uncover and address unmet need. Through identifying the underlying factors causing the clinical presentation and attendance, and addressing holistic needs of the family unit, we hope activity to unscheduled, primary and emergency care is dramatically and sustainably reduced.
The model is based on Family Support Workers based within Children's Emergency Departments, offering holistic, family-oriented support in a flexible manner either in-person, telephone- based and home visits to be able to address the underlying causes of repeated / avoidable ED attendances.
