Job Title: South Manchester Carers Locality Coordinator Post
Full Time 18-month contract
Salary £28,000 per annum
Carers Manchester is a partnership of statutory and voluntary organisations, working together to improve services for Manchester’s 62,000 unwaged carers. This partnership is developing a new pathway for carers in the city to receive guidance and support. Manchester Carers Forum, (MCF), in partnership with Wai yin, Together Dementia Support, Connect Support and Lifted are working in partnership to deliver the Locality offer for Carers in South Manchester.
We are looking to appoint a coordinator for the south of the city who will be based in MCFs offices at Gaddum House, 6 Great Jackson Street, Manchester, M15 4AX.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of the Carers Network Manchester, (CMN), and delivery of the local offer for unwaged carers through, connecting the Carers Pathway with neighbourhoods and communities across South Manchester. The post holder will work closely with 3 part time locality coordinators based across South Manchester who have expertise in supporting carers of people with Dementia, Mental Health needs and Parent Carers.
You should be passionate about supporting unwaged Carers, able to demonstrate the ability to take the initiative, have experience of developing partnership work and leading a small team.
