Our partnership project recruits and trains advice volunteers centrally and then supports them in ways that enable them to develop. This collaboration of Manchester Mind, Cheetham Hill Advice Centre, Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit, Manchester Refugee Support Network and Centrepoint Manchester is also increasing our respective capacities to meet the advice needs of our communities. We all share our talents and skills and the responsibility for this exciting project for which Manchester Mind serves as lead and accountable body.

We are seeking someone who cares about social justice and collaboration to work with us:

Advice Supervisor, Manchester Volunteer Advice Partnership (MVAP) – Centrepoint

Salary: £28,221 pro rata (£14,110 actual)  |  Hours: 17.5 per week

Contract in place until December 2019 (funding guaranteed to this date).

The postholder will be employed by Manchester Mind but seconded to Centrepoint Manchester. Centrepoint supports homeless 16-25 year-olds in Manchester.

The skills and knowledge that are important to us are:
