Marie Curie exists to provide a better life to people living with terminal illness, and their families. We do this by providing hands-on-care either at home or in one of our nine hospices. We also offer advice and services to support people to live well for as long as possible before they reach the end of their lives. As the leading voice on end of life care in the UK, we are the largest charitable funder of research into palliative and end of life care in the UK and we campaign to improve conditions for people living with a terminal illness.

The Corporate Partnerships team is a key part of Philanthropy & Partnerships in the Fundraising Division and looks to identify, develop and sustain corporate partnerships which drive income, awareness and influence of Marie Curie's work. The team creates bespoke partnerships with companies based in the UK, using a range of fundraising methods to raise money for our vital work. Our current partners include Superdrug, SPAR, Pets at Home, Hotter Shoes and AmazonSmile.

The successful candidate will support the Corporate Development team to secure new partnerships, maximising income through COTY, commercial & strategic opportunities, and pro bono/gift in kind activities. The Corporate Development Executive will also be responsible for conducting prospect research, managing the prospect pipeline, providing administrative support for the team, and overseeing specific projects that will help the Corporate Development team and Marie Curie fulfil its strategic objectives.

The Corporate Development Executive will be an articulate and passionate advocate for Marie Curie, with excellent attention to detail, good IT skills, and experience of dealing with senior leadership and external clients. You will be motivated, enthusiastic and tenacious, and possess the ability to pre-empt team needs and potential challenges, as well as the confidence and experience to use your initiative and creativity to solve problems.

This role may close early if a sufficient number of applications are received.
