Marie Curie is the UK's leading end of life charity. We are here to support everyone in the UK through all aspects of end of life - and to fight for a society where everyone gets to have the best experience possible at the end of their lives. Marie Curie Nurses, Hospices and Support Line have been here day and night, seven days a week, throughout the pandemic, providing frontline care and supporting the NHS.

Our fundraising team in Yorkshire secures and builds long term relationships with individuals, Fundraising Groups, volunteers, clubs, groups and associations and corporate partners in the community and across the UK.

  • You will have a proven track-record in managing geographically dispersed teams to deliver income
  • You will be a tenacious, results driven, self-starter who thrives on identifying new opportunities
  • You will have the ability to work with others to turn a strategy into an operational plan, engaging others to create shared ownership of the plans.
  • You will be a dynamic, inspiring, and experienced people and relationship manager
  • You will be passionate about end of life care and supporting everyone through all aspects of death, dying and bereavement

What's in it for you:

  • Continued access to NHS Pension Scheme (subject to eligibility)
  • Marie Curie Group Personal Pension Scheme
  • Season ticket loan
  • Loan schemes for bikes; computers and satellite navigation systems
  • Continuous development
  • Industry leading training programmes

We take stringent steps to ensure that the people who join our organisation through employment or volunteering, are suitable for their roles and are committed to safeguarding all our people from harm. This includes our staff, volunteers and all those who use or come into contact with our services. We are dedicated to creating not just a safe place to work but also a supportive and rewarding one.

We are devoted to the social justice imperatives and organisational benefits of full diversity, inclusion and equity in the workplace, and are a Stonewall champion.
