An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regiostered Nurse to join our community nursing team based in East Surrey. This is an exciting time to join an ambitious, much loved charity seeking to grow our support and services within the South-East England Region.
The successful applicant will play an active role in our team, providing excellent individualised care, enabling patients to be cared for and die in their own homes surrounded by their families and loved ones. It's all about giving them the best possible quality of life. The support we offer is tailored to meet individuals' medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs.
The successful candidate will be working alongside a team of Healthcare Assistants delivering care whilst at the same time supporting our Senior Nurse and Clinical Nurse Manager in the assessment of patient needs, planning and reviewing of care and leadership of the team. We are ideally looking for a Registered Nurse who can work 24hrs (4 shifts) per week (Earlys, Lates or Long Days) and provide 1:3 weekend cover as part of their rostered hours.
What we are looking for:
- RGN level 1 registration
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of palliative care and the needs of patients with complex symptoms as well as at end of life
- Forward thinking with excellent communication skills
- Driver's Licence and use of your own vehicle
