Job Description

About You:

You are not just good at what you do, you are an EXCEPTIONAL channel manager, who can build a COMPELLING value proposition and develop and share BEST PRACTICE

  • Being good isn’t good enough; instead, you are DRIVEN to deliver results and thrive on being able to INSPIRE and TAKE PEOPLE ON A JOURNEY.
  • Difficult and challenging situations don’t faze you but rather ENERGISE you to look for SOLUTIONS
  • You are a GAME CHANGER, not afraid to speak your mind and make things happen
  • Do you wake up in the morning wanting to make a DIFFERENCE?

Global channel leadership at MSI defines channel strategy and standards; provides operational “know how”– in the form of best practice.  The best practice for all elements of running a channel is built with colleagues into “Channel Success Models”.  The “co-created” channel Success Models: sets the role & strategy for the channel; sets the criteria by which success is measured; emphasises clinical quality alongside the Medical Development Team; sets operational best practice; defines marketing approaches for behavioural change and demand generation; outlines necessary integrity and compliance to data & governance standards; defines and shapes channel  sustainability models; and sets the evidence validation agenda. This is all done in close collaboration with other departments, teams and colleagues through cross-disciplinary “virtual teams”.

The accountability for developing the success model lies with individual channel directors. MSI takes a total system approach which means the Success Model is combined with hands-on technical support to country programmes; and combined with coaching of the in-country channel leads to help build in-country capability and improve performance.

This is a role that really gives you the opportunity to drive forward MSI’s goals of making people’s lives better by having children by Choice, Not Chance.
