The Marine Conservation Society is the UK’s leading charity for the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife. MCS is the voice for the sea, for all the fascinating creatures that live beneath the waves, for our breath-taking coastal environment, for all those who make a sustainable living from the sea and for everyone who simply enjoys visiting the beach and our glorious coastline.

- Proven ability to work with a diverse and agile workforce, supporting teams through the development of the IT infrastructure policies and processes
- Proven understanding of data management and digital strategies
- Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service - particularly in translating technical solutions to non-technical teams
- Proven team leadership skills
- Demonstrable negotiating and influencing skills for internal stakeholders and external suppliers for contracts and agreements
- The ability to implement plans with minimal disruption to service provision
- A confident self-starter who is able to take a proactive approach when managing a varied and busy workload
