Marine Society and Sea Cadets are seeking to appoint a Volunteer Support Administrator to join our Volunteer Support Department based in London. We offer flexible working, with an option to flex start and leaving times and offer a hybrid working approach whereby employees can choose to work remotely for up to 3 days a week if they wish. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £22,000 gross per annum depending on experience.
Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a leading maritime charity in lifelong learning and personal development and is the governing charity of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC), a civilian voluntary youth organisation engaging some 15,000 young people over 400 Sea Cadet Units, throughout the UK. The SCC offers a wide range of youth opportunities with the same enduring objective – to give young people the best possible head start in life through nautical adventure and fun.
The Volunteer Support Administrator role involves acting as the first point of contact via email and phone for our 8,000 volunteers, providing warm and friendly assistance. This role provides vital support to volunteers within our enrolment process as well as administrative tasks that aid and celebrate our volunteers.
