Job Description

Full-time 32,000 or Part-time 4 days a week (with flexible working) Marketing Manager- at innovative start-up charity

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a new global platform whose mission is to serve compassionate people who wish to donate at times of humanitarian crisis, through an expert led service and identifying effective charities on the ground.
Working as part of a start-up, we are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with excellent digital skills who can roll their sleeves up and hit the ground running as part of a small, dynamic team. The charity offer flexible working hours and the opportunity to work 4 days a week.

Key responsibilities:

-Protect & promote the brand and brand values
-Produce digital marketing, advertising and engagement campaigns to build awareness, generate leads, grow donations and promote loyalty and advocacy
-Project manage the website redesign ensuring objectives & deliverables are met on time and on budget (launch spring 2017)
-Day to day website management using CMS; ensuring content is created, edited, updated and SEO optimised
-Manage and develop written, audio and video content for online use
-Manage the community and donor database using Salesforce (linked to the new platform due in the spring of 2017)
-Work closely with senior management and the PR firm to devise an integrated content strategy and coordinate its delivery
-Monitor, report and analyse all digital activity demonstrating impact and direction of future activity
-Manage & coordinate stakeholders
-Understand, develop & maintain the marketing budget
-Manage 1-2 direct reports

Person specification:

-Developing successful marketing strategies with heavy emphasis on digital engagement and communication
-The use of communications tools and platforms including website content management systems, email marketing software, digital analysis tools including Google Analytics, Salesforce (or equivalent) database system and social media
-Using digital and social media channels within a charity or non-profit organisation
-Developing a content strategy and editorial calendar
