Here is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Marketing Officer to work within our Public Engagement Group. Sponsorship Experience is a growing area of our organisation and our team love the fact that each day is different. Within this role, you will deliver an exceptional experience for our World Vision child sponsors through the development and delivery of timely, high value and inspiring marketing campaigns that demonstrate the difference their child sponsorship is making. This in turn increases sponsor loyalty and retention and deepens engagement between the sponsor and child.
This role will afford you the opportunity to develop new and innovative ways of communicating the impact our donors are making. It will be your job to ensure that our ongoing messaging and supporter marketing materials truly reflect World Vision’s mission and Christian ethos to our diverse supporter base.
Working alongside our Data team, you will have the chance to understand supporter behaviour as well as measure results and capitalise on future activities and campaigns. In this instance, you can plan, build and extract data information by using our CRM system and working with other ‘data’ stakeholders in the organisation.
Creating compelling copy content is required as well as managing relationships with our design, print, digital and film agencies, so that you work collaboratively to produce communications material in order to ‘reach’ supporters at an emotional level. Building relationships with our Programme Effectiveness team will ensure our sponsors are receiving the most inspiring updates about the projects they support. And one of your most rewarding parts of the role will be to communicate with World Vision staff working across 23 countries to gather stories that bring to life the change our supporters are making.
A relevant degree with ongoing professional development in direct and/or digital marketing is needed complemented with a good level of direct marketing, statistics and data analysis/insights experience. An excellent communicator with a creative outlook and fantastic relationship-building skills, you will relish the opportunity to deliver multi-channel campaigns, use data and customer insights to help develop new ideas and use your superb eye for detail.
