Role description
As the Events and Partnerships Officer you’ll be responsible for developing and managing AMOSSHE’s events portfolio and building strategic partnerships. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Event planning and execution:
o Organising in-person conferences, online events and webinars.
o Collaborating with external partners to ensure successful event delivery.
o Managing logistics, budgets, and participant engagement.
2. Partnership development:
o Identifying and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, including universities, speakers, and industry partners.
o Exploring sponsorship opportunities and securing funding for AMOSSHE events.
o Coordinating collaborative initiatives with partner organisations.

Job Role:
Join London Seminary as our new Partnership & Development Manager. This new position is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our exciting journey as we expand our partnership, fundraising and income generation. We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic team player with exceptional interpersonal and fundraising skills, ready to thrive within our existing passionate staff team.
As the successful candidate, you will collaborate with the COO in shaping the future of London Seminary. Your responsibilities will include researching and identifying innovative fundraising opportunities with trusts, foundations, as well as developing individual supporters, transforming these connections into long-term relationships. You will also play a key role in supporting the COO during outreach activities at Christian churches and partnership events. Working within our dynamic team, you will craft high-quality, bespoke proposals and reports to showcase the impact and outcomes of London Seminary, enhancing awareness of our mission. Additionally, you'll assist the Principal in implementing new initiatives to raise awareness of our work and outreach.
This is a full-or part-time position with a competitive salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on skills and experience, based at London Seminary in North London. We offer flexibility for hybrid working to the right candidate. We are also happy to accept applications looking for a part-time (0.8) role. Salary will be pro-rata.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the COO to develop and implement the charity’s income development strategy both internally and externally.
- Identify, create and submit high-quality funding applications to trusts & foundations in alignment with their requirements and the overall fundraising strategy.
- Represent London Seminary at events, conferences, and community gatherings to promote awareness of the organisation and foster relationships with potential donors and partners.
- Support reporting requirements by demonstrating impact and outcomes.
- Record all activities using Salesforce CRM database.

Supported by the Social Media and Content Manager and Senior Digital Manager, they will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to manage our social media presence. They will use their creativity and strong copywriting skills to work with members of the Fundraising and PR teams to develop engaging content for our social channels and continue to grow our presence online.
This role would be a good fit for someone enthusiastic about learning more and creating exciting social media content. We are looking for strong copywriting skills and experience working on social media campaigns.
To be successful in your application you'll need:
- Experience creating content (including reels for Instagram) for and managing social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and Linkedin
- Experience with social media reporting tools
- Knowledge and understanding of social media best practice and following latest trends

We need you, a talented marketing insight specialist to help us develop and deliver our strategy.
Who we’re looking for:
A rare breed of marketer/fundraiser and data analyst, with the unique ability to analyse and interpret data, you’ll be able to tell the insight stories needed to drive and evolve campaigns and develop new products.
You’ll have a natural curiosity to explore and interrogate all the data points available to us (both on and offline), being able to clearly communicate to non-technical colleagues at all levels.
You’ll have experience of working either as part of a marketing team or directly with marketers or fundraisers, and be able to pro-actively provide insights that deliver real change.

Key accountabilities:
Use insight and analysis to inform and guide the Fundraising and CX team:
· Work with the Head of CX to manage all campaign analysis and insight projects and ensure that interpretations of the findings and insights are delivered to the appropriate stakeholders in order to inform and drive future performance and strategies
· Manage the analysis of fundraising campaigns and products, working closely with the relevant fundraising teams to identify key learning and make recommendations for future activity
· Build dashboards and ways of visualising data that fundraisers can use on a daily basis to track, report on and optimise their campaigns
· Work with others across the CX team to report against testing schedules and strategies
· Run segmentations as required for fundraising teams
· Ensure that completed insight is effectively disseminated to internal customers and that they understand and use it
· Work with the Head of CX to guide, plan and implement market research as required
· Work with the management team to ensure reporting, performance and insight is made available across the organisation for all key channels and activities eg website, CX journeys, email etc
· Stay current with legal and regulatory frameworks, including; Data Protection legislation and the Code of Fundraising Practice, to ensure that all campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry.

Fundraising Manager (Grants and Trusts)
Working closely with the Chief Executive, the Fundraising Manager will help secure and sustain existing and new grant income streams from trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, statutory bodies, and other local or national funders. The Fundraising Manager will work with others to research and identify prospective new funding opportunities, write and submit grant applications, and build strong relationships with donors. They will have strong confidence in presenting AFRUCA to prospective donors and coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with them.
We are looking for a strong candidate able to develop compelling AFRUCA funding proposals tailored to the requirement of each funder. They must have a strong knowledge and understanding of the UK charity sector fundraising landscape. They must possess excellent written communication and organising skills. They must possess sound interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and negotiate with external and internal stakeholders. They must be assertive, able to demonstrate personal resourcefulness in the generation of new revenue and funding streams for AFRUCA.
The Fundraising Manager post is a newly created role within AFRUCA, therefore an exciting opportunity for someone to make it their own and implement ideas and strategies to support the organisation’s growth.
The successful candidate will have at least three years’ fundraising experience and be able to demonstrate a track record of meeting income targets in grant fundraising disciplines, and growing and managing a donor base
