The Head of Brand and Communications is responsible for developing and delivering Turn2us’ branding and external communications strategy, including media relations, social media, content marketing and work with influencers.
The team will focus on insight, targeted campaigns, audience development, the amplification of the voices of those for whom Turnus exists and raising the profile of the charity and its work. The work will be collaborative with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- As brand guardian ensure that the brand’s values, messaging and visual identity are consistently represented across all touchpoints and throughout the organisation, including maintaining high standards of quality for all branded materials and manage the use of all communications suppliers for Turn2us.
- Lead the organisation’s accumulation of insights about stakeholders' experiences of Turn2us and lead the charity’s continued development of the brand’s articulation.
- Support internal stakeholders, including Elizabeth Finn Homes, partners, and funders on the brand’s values, identity, and guidelines through training, inductions and up-to-date brand guidelines.
- Collaboratively develop Turn2us’ marketing and communications strategy and develop an annual calendar of activity in harmony with our work, vision, purpose, values and strategy.
- Develop and manage our traditional and social media presence as well as developing profile through collaboration with key influencers, editors and journalists.
- In partnership with the Head of Supporter Engagement and the Head of Policy and Influence, plan and execute content marketing campaigns, including creating and distributing digital content including blog posts, articles, videos and infographics.
- Plan and lead the delivery of key publications and events including the Annual Report and stakeholder engagement events.
- Define, develop and implement national campaigns aimed at key poverty issues in order to raise awareness of the charity’s services.
- Work in coalition with a range of stakeholders to drive greater impact for awareness and understanding of key issues for people facing financial insecurity.
- Provide inspiring leadership and support to the Communications team, creating a high performing culture to ensure the successful delivery of department and organisational objectives.
Person Specification:
- Background and professional experience in Media, Digital & MarComms.
- Experience of setting strategy, managing, and creating budgets, and regular reporting outcomes against KPIs.
- Experience of developing creative content campaigns across multiple channels to drive engagement and social change.
- Proven experience of leading, managing, and retaining a team of exceptional talent as well as creating a culture of innovation and a commitment to achieving results.
- Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
- Strong editorial and writing skills.
- Project management and planning skills across teams.
- Evidence of a strong news sense with a proven track record of successfully developing news stories and strategic use of social media.
- Demonstrable experience of developing a strategy and identifying opportunities for celebrity supporters and influencers to support organisation-wide marketing strategies.

Individual Giving & Engagement Manager, an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious, growing, and vital medical research Charity, based in Central London. Hybrid working; 2 days per week office based, 3 days per week working from home.
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser, looking for a role where you can make a significant impact to an Individual Giving program, and join an ambitious Fundraising team?
Due to heavy investment and ambitious growth plans across Individual Giving & Engagement, this newly created role will play a pivotal role in achieving key objectives and income targets across the Individual Giving & Engagement program.
As the Individual Giving & Engagement Manager, reporting to the Head of Individual Giving & Engagement, working closely with the Supporter Engagement Manager and Digital Marketing Officer and wider marketing team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of Individual Giving & Engagement products across single, regular, prize-led, payroll, legacy and in-memory giving.
You will be responsible for the management of these products and campaigns, the planning and implementation of these campaigns in consultation with the Head of Individual Giving & Engagement. You will lead on the management and development of projects and campaigns to acquire and increase the value and loyalty of new and existing supporters across both digital and direct channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy: In collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving and Engagement, develop a strategy for your portfolio of Individual Giving & Engagement campaigns and projects. Contribute to the overall annual planning process and the direction for the Individual Giving & Engagement programme across cash giving, regular giving, prize-led, legacy and in-memory products and channels.
- Planning; Work with the Head of Individual Giving and Engagement and Supporter Engagement Manager on the development of the acquisition programmes inc., contact, engagement, and lead generation strategies.
- Innovation & Product Development; Manage a continuous test and learn cycle of new channels based on audience insight and sector learnings and trends.
- Internal Stakeholder relationships: Brief, monitor and manage internal stakeholders’ relationships for Individual Giving campaigns and projects. Identify opportunities, make recommendations, and create plans for the cross-sell of Individual Giving & Engagement campaigns across all existing audiences.
- External Stakeholder management: Account manage suppliers/agencies to maximise value and ROI for services and campaigns. Brief, manage and monitor performance of suppliers and where appropriate periodically review.
- Financial Management: In line with the strategy, produce commentary for annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for review and sign off by Head of Individual Giving and Engagement.
To be successful within this very exciting Individual Giving & Engagement Manager role, our client is looking for you to have proven experience and knowledge of;
- Developing, managing, and delivering Individual Giving Campaigns (acquisition and retention) across a variety of direct and digital channels and across a wide range of products, such as; single giving, regular giving campaigns across cause-led and prize-led campaigns.
- Project management of campaigns, developing, monitoring and evaluating acquisition and retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets. Reporting results and make recommendations to improve performance.
- Managing, monitoring, and reviewing external suppliers and agencies.
- Creative thinking and innovation in the development of processes, supporter communications and fundraising products.

As Friends and Patrons Manager, you will:

- Oversee the stewardship journeys of Friends and Patrons (£55 to £20,000), with a portfolio of your own donors giving at the higher level
- Responsible for day to day management of the Royal Albert Hall America Patron Scheme

With a focus on driving public awareness of and engagement with the organisation's services, the Numeracy Campaign Manager will be responsible for delivering creative and results-driven campaigns that engage audiences, communities and organisations with the benefits of improving number confidence.
From honing campaign strategy to sparking collaboration with external organisations, individuals and ambassadors as well as delivering creative and engaging content this is a key role at the organisation and will play a pivotal role in how the organisation is viewed by the public and its partners.
About the role:
- Devise and deliver the campaigns strategy, reviewing and honing as necessary
- Deliver the organisation's annual awareness day, National Numeracy Day, and other campaigns, such as Number Confidence Week, throughout the year
- Lead and deliver events, content, celebrity activity, case studies, media and marketing for campaigns throughout the year
- Lead and deliver great collaborations with external organisations to further the organisation's campaign and charity aims
- Work with the Events & Celebrity Liaison Manager to ensure the positive engagement of current celebrity ambassadors with campaigns, and the development of new influencer relationships
- Oversee the campaign production process, ensuring timely delivery and smooth running across the campaign
- Build and maintain effective relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders including the public, the media, funders and other partners
- Support the Head of Communications in managing the work of the team to deliver campaigns throughout the year
- Work with the Digital Engagement Manager to develop excellent digital marketing, web, email marketing, user experience, and content strategies for the campaign
- Continually improve the effectiveness of the organisation's campaigns, paying attention to measurement, evaluation and learning for evidence-based improvement and work with Data Team to ensure campaigns bring measurable impact
About you:
National Numeracy is looking for someone who is highly motivated with bags of initiative. Experience in the charity sector is not necessary, as long as you can show that you have relevant transferable skills and an understanding of what it takes to lead successful campaigns.
