We have a great opportunity for an experienced Brand Manager to join our Marketing and Income Generation Directorate. You will join us working 35 hours per week on a 12-month fixed term contract and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £46,284 per annum plus excellent benefits.
This is a remote based role however occasional travel for meetings will be required.

The Brand and Marketing team help to deliver our purpose as a charity, seeing the world through cats eyes, inspiring audiences through brilliant storytelling and bringing about a step change in awareness of our brand and the issues we champion resulting in many more people treating cats with kindness and respect.
Responsibilities of our Brand Manager:
As Brand Manager, you will work across the organisation to manage daily requests for support and approvals on copy and design work that require constant action and collaboration both with teams right across the organisation and with external agency partners to ensure we are delivering a coherent, focused and integrated brand to our audiences. You will work closely with the Campaign Manager to build and track brand performance metrics including awareness, reach, logo recognition and sentiment and provide input and support for other projects/initiatives as required across the charity.
What we’re looking for in our Brand Manager:
- Significant experience in a brand strategy and activation role
- Experience of briefing and management of creatives both in-house and external agencies
- Experience of working and collaborating closely with multiple teams across a large organisation with competing needs
- A solid working knowledge of brand marketing and advertising practices and methods
- Able to manage a heavy and fluctuating workload
- Good understanding of campaign metrics and reporting
- Charity experience is preferred

The Data & Analytics team, based in the Marketing & Income Generation directorate, focuses on data processing, data selections and data analysis. The Data team has grown over the last couple of years due to significant charity growth.
Responsibilities of our Data Analyst:
As Data Analyst you will be responsible for the delivery of actionable and highly effective supporter analysis, reports, dashboards and statistical models to inform the evidence-based decision making of the Marketing and Income Generation directorate. The Data Analyst will support departmental strategies and plans by analysing campaign effectiveness and providing a clear understanding of our audiences to optimise supporter journeys, improve targeting and drive engagement. They will also assist the Lead Data Analyst in designing, planning and delivering data insight projects to enable the directorate to maintain a supporter-focused view, maximising the returns on Cat Protection’s investments.
What we’re looking for in our Data Analyst:
- Significant database marketing experience with use and manipulation of data structures with a relational database management system
- Significant data analysis and interpretation experience identifying key trends
- Advanced knowledge of FastStats or similar statistical package
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Full understanding of the data analysis process from briefing to delivery
- Experience presenting analysis and managing stakeholder relationships

The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is looking for an experienced and results-driven marketing professional with great know-how in marketing opportunities and managing agencies, and a commitment to women’s economic empowerment to join our team as Programme Marketing Manager for 12 months.

About the role
Becoming the Programme Marketing Manager at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a fantastic opportunity to help drive progress for women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by engaging more people in our work.
The key purpose of this role is to effectively market our programmes to participants – chiefly our HerVenture business skills microlearning app and our sector-leading Mentoring Women in Business programme.
This will span three main projects:
· to successfully manage a marketing agency to effectively market the HerVenture app to women in South Africa (as part of a fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Mar ‘25);
· to successfully manage the same marketing agency to promote the app in Nigeria (as part of a separate fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Dec ‘24); and
· to effectively promote the opportunity to become a mentor to a woman entrepreneur through our Mentoring Women in Business programme to paying professionals worldwide. Your objective will be to secure 18+ paid mentors for the Nov ’24 programme intake and 20+ for the May ’25 intake.
Following the completion of the two HerVenture marketing projects, you will also lead other programme marketing initiatives in 2025. These will be determined in late 2024.
Following the May ’25 Mentoring intake you will deliver a strategy, harnessing your learning and analysis to outline an approach for marketing the programme to paying mentors in future.
You will also be called on to support other forms of programme marketing on an ad hoc basis, for example advising on development of corporate pitch decks, or co-designing materials for fundraising events.
This position reports directly to the Head of Communications and Marketing, however this is a highly collaborative role and you will also work closely with the Entrepreneurship programmes team and the Programme Funding team to develop and deliver plans and manage projects.
Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated marketer with experience in ‘selling’ professional development / online volunteering opportunities, and in managing agencies and contractors to deliver on fixed projects as aligned to good marketing practices. You should be highly organised and goals-driven, with a collaborative approach, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to harness the power of marketing to support women’s economic empowerment.
