Membership Development Officer
Location: Remote 
Contract: Fixed One Year Term 
Hours: 37 hours per week – Flexible working hours welcomed
Salary: £27,000 per annum

The Role

Mayday is looking for someone who has a passion for social justice, who will coordinate and implement the project plan to develop and launch Mayday’s new membership offer.

This is no ordinary Membership Development Officer role.  This is a role that will challenge you to get radical, unleashing your inner activist to support Mayday and the people we walk alongside by: 

  • Proactively marketing our new offer to organisations and practitioners with a potential interest in joining, explaining the benefits and motivating them to join.
  • Coordinating input from colleagues and developing content, systems and materials.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all enquiries about individual membership, welcoming new organisations and developing their induction programme and access to resources.

You will bring a sense of fun, have a spark that is ignited by doing something great, be driven by the passion for bringing a community of strength-based organisations and individuals together to create systems that work for people who are experiencing tough times.
