Our client, which is a leading professional association based in Central London, is looking for a Financial Controller to be responsible for all aspects of the organisation’s finances ensuring that they are used as efficiently as possible.
This opportunity is potentially suitable for someone looking for the next step in their finance career. You should have the management skills to support a small finance team and the ability to undertake the financial management of the organisation in support of the Director of Finance. You should have a can-do attitude and must be happy to take on small tasks as well as big financial responsibilities.
Degree qualified and with a qualification from one of the Chartered Institutes of Accountancy, you should have a background either in practice or in commerce and have experience of producing statutory accounts.
With all audited accounts signed off for 2018/19, the professional association is in robust financial health, despite the current COVID19 situation. On the contrary to many organisations, there has been an upturn in its work and the output for its members has considerably increased.
The impact of COVID19 has not negatively affected the organisation to a great extent and no staff have been furloughed nor is our client anticipating any changes to the staff establishment of 75 at this present time.
At present all staff are being supported to work from home, but this role is ultimately an office-based role.
