The Brent Centre for Young People is a charity based in North West London (Kilburn) that provides psychotherapeutic treatments to young people aged 11-25 years, who suffer with emotional difficulties and have mental health needs. The Centre has an international reputation and delivers world-leading evidence-based practices to young people across North West London. On average, the centre helps over 700 young people per year through its In-house and Outreach Services.
We are looking for an experienced clinical administrator with strong people and communication skills to help run our clinical services.
This post is an exciting opportunity to be part both of supporting the growth of this new service and supporting clinical administration at the Brent Centre within an existing small team.
The suitable candidate will have at least two years’ experience of clinical and/or general administration and reception duties. This post will suit a confident, reliable individual with strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
You will be expected to be confident in IT skills (including the use of Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level) and apply them to recording data accurately on a daily basis on our client database.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates a high level of professionalism, can work to regular deadlines, can problem solve when faced with difficult situations, adheres to confidentiality and can communicate professionally, politely and effectively with young patients, their families, our clinical and non-clinical staff team and our external contacts, such as GPs.
The post requires sensitivity to the needs of young people with emotional difficulties and the nature of therapeutic work and their families. Experience with young people or with mental health is advantageous.
You will be expected to work a range of shifts between 9.30am to 6pm, 10.30am to 7pm and 11.30am to 8pm, to be agreed.
The candidate will have excellent skills, when carrying out duties of the post.

Role Purpose:
This role requires a driven and passionate individual to immerse themselves in their region promoting the amazing outcomes that the Kooth services deliver. This position plays an essential part in Kooth’s growth strategy for our child and adult services platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the work of our Kooth services for Children, Young People and Adults by developing new sales opportunities for growth and expansion across the region as well as taking an active role in the renewal and uplift activities, including supporting high quality tender opportunities.
- Using existing relationships and understanding to inform and support the discussions; meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Build a broad strategic network of stakeholders across the region, NHS, local authorities, GPs, VCSE, Service User groups and other organisations through meetings, events and conferences.
- Work closely with ICS leads to develop high performing and sustainable relationships.
- Ensure that Salesforce is maintained with contacts, leads, opportunities and activities and be able to analyse data to advance conversations with commissioners and stakeholders.
- Use data skills and working with Strategic Commercial Manager (SCM) to create compelling narrative underpinned with high-quality business cases for commissioners that secure new logo service contracts and support renewals.
- Support contract negotiation, on boarding and service mobilisation with successful handover to Customer Success Managers (CSMs).
- Work as a key member of the B2G commercial team, actively contributing to new campaigns to drive forward new sales and promoting Kooth’s services at forums and presenting at regional events.
- Read, understand and influence mental health strategy reports, CYP & Adult plans, developments in the field of young people/adults and mental health and having a clear grasp of the agenda driving our customers/commissioners. Then feeding back to the Head of Business Development, senior management team and locality managers ensuring what is delivered is effective, relevant and innovative.
- Undertake any requests made by the Senior Kooth Leadership Team that are relevant to the post.

The Module sits within the Master of Research (MRes) in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology (DNP), a two-year Masters programme, which is a collaboration between Anna Freud, University College London and The Child Study Centre at Yale University in the USA. The MRes brings together thinking from multiple perspectives, with a particular focus in the role of neuroscience in understanding child psychopathology. Students spend their first year in London (based at Anna Freud) and their second year at Yale, where they undertake a substantial research project. The student cohort is small (generally 14 students per year) and carefully selected. This post provides a forum for the successful candidate to develop skills and experience in teaching and delivery of an innovative and well-established MRes programme. We are looking for a new Director of Housing, will lead on strategic development, business growth, governance, and working closely with Housing managers, to lead change management across STADA’s Housing Team as we work together to improve the housing and homelessness sector’s response to domestic abuse, so that all victims and survivors can achieve safety and housing security.
The Director of Housing will have overall accountability for the strategic leadership and operational management of the Housing team, including developing housing initiatives, managing strategic relationships, income streams, budgets, contractual templates, procurement, commissioning, developing and oversight of monitoring/reporting mechanisms. The role’s portfolio includes oversight of our housing team programmes: the Housing First & Homelessness Programme, the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) Programme, and the Whole Housing Approach Programme.
This role will develop and communicate STADA’s vision, mission and strategic direction, within the Senior Leadership Team. Strategic leadership will contribute across STADA and include setting and aligning long-term portfolio goals and objectives with STADA’s overall strategy.
The Director of Housing will provide direct line management support and supervision to the Head of Housing and any other relevant identified roles (within and beyond the Housing team). The role holder will also have oversight of the financial management, staff and performance management, project and change management of relevant portfolios including Housing programmes. The Director of Housing will support the Head of Housing to lead on the department’s communications and external affairs, developing and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders to influence national policy and practice related to the housing and homelessness needs of victims/survivors of domestic abuse.

As a vital part of the Trust and Statutory fundraising team, the Stratutory Manager will report to the Head of Trusts and Statutory and work closely with project teams across the organisation, including senior operational leads and the Communications and Campaigns Team. With a strong ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments, the prison estate and statutory agencies, the role has responsibility for co-ordination of operational and financial information for key strategy programmes, identifying statutory funding opportunities and ensuring timely, high-quality reporting.
As Statutory Manager, you will:
- Research and develop statutory funding sources at 5- and 6-figure level, identifying funders and scoping out funding opportunities, supporting a team income target of c£4.5m.
- Be responsible for applications, reports, relationships and stewardship communications with Statutory funders, including DHSC, and prison funders
- Proactively pull together application materials, wording, project outlines and budgets to create a compelling case for support against key programmes, projects or themes in line with likely statutory funding opportunities
- Engage and liaise with key stakeholders across the organisation, securing relevant sign off for timely submission of bids
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience of statutory fundraising from government or lottery sources at 4- or 5-figure level
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a portfolio of applications and funding relationships, developing strong cultivation, stewardship and engagement opportunities to grow partnerships with funders
- Build and maintain a personal and organisational profile with external stakeholders within relevant government departments

Who are we looking for?

We are working in partnership with Chichester Counselling Services (CCS), a registered charity, who are a highly regarded training school and counselling service. Their aim is to provide affordable counselling and training services to the community of Chichester and the wider areas of West Sussex and East Hampshire. CCS’s psychodynamic training programme, accredited by the BACP, has a reputation for rigour and depth. The counselling offered is frequently recommended by local health professionals and is well-respected in the community: around two thirds of their clients approach CCS having been encouraged to do so by professional advisors or by their family, friends, or employers.
CCS are now seeking experienced counsellors (up to 5 opportunities available) who have trained with the psychodynamic modality as a core part of qualification, together with knowledge of integration with other modalities. The purpose of the role is to provide creative and varied teaching approaches to CCS’s counselling students. This includes teaching counselling skills / clinical practice and theory, with a strong emphasis on the psychodynamic approach.
Required experience and skills:
- A minimum of 2 years post-qualification clinical practice experience that has been supervised by a fully qualified counselling supervisor.
- Experience in training and facilitating adult groups within a counselling environment.
- Experience of or Level 3+ qualification in teaching adults.
- Accreditation with BACP, professional accreditation with NCPS or UKCP membership, or in the process of accreditation.
