We are looking for an experienced clinical administrator with strong people and communication skills to help run our clinical services.
This post is an exciting opportunity to be part both of supporting the growth of this new service and supporting clinical administration at the Brent Centre within an existing small team.
The suitable candidate will have at least two years’ experience of clinical and/or general administration and reception duties. This post will suit a confident, reliable individual with strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

We have two Individual Giving Manager vacancies within the mental health sector. These are newly created roles at separate but connected charities.
One is with the umbrella charity and the other is with one of their member charities. Reporting into the same Head of Individual Giving, each role will lead its own charity in developing income from individual giving.
The umbrella charity is a younger charity in operation for 7 years, and they are about to launch a product linked to women’s health and mental health – a sector leading step for them.
The member charity has been in existence for around 50 years and supports people severely affected by mental illness. They have a loyal support base which is cash-led.
The roles will need the same skill set from individual giving experts but will have their own nuances and differences. The roles are fully responsible for all individual giving activity, with income of c.£300,000 a year for each charity.
Both charities are in the investment stage of developing the programmes and there will be opportunity for creative and innovation on both programmes.
There is an individual giving officer for each role that will report to each manager.
As both programmes are developing there is the need to keep improving on processes, reporting and systems.

Stop.Breathe.Think. is a game changing mental health service, launched during COVID, that gives eligible young people aged 8 – 21 years access to free 1 to 1 online counselling sessions. First and foremost, we want to provide counselling support for young people who would not otherwise be able to afford it. With no wait times and available nationally.
Our counsellors all work remotely and online, and we aim to provide a timely and effective short-term service, using a recognised solution-focused 6 session therapy model. (Guided by the THRIVE framework for child mental health care, originally written to guide practice within the NHS and now used nationwide, across a variety of services and organisations.)
We are looking to recruit a fantastic Counselling Manager to join our small, motivated and friendly team - based in our Hove office. The SBT service is growing and has a big vision - and we are excited to be expanding the team with this key role, which will support our growing number of online counsellors and bring new skills and experience to the team, ensuring the SBT service is being delivered effectively and safely.

About you
Experience working as an Administrator is essential. You’ll need to be proactive and adaptable, with excellent communication, administration, finance and minute taking skills and experience, along with experience of completing contract management data reports.
About the role
As an Administrator your role will include:
- Dealing promptly with the issuing and payment of invoices.
- Liaising with all Head Office departments, particularly Finance, as required to ensure the payment of invoices.
- Obtaining quotation from suppliers and make purchases based on a value for money structure.
- Answering and responding to all initial enquiries from outside agencies or prospective service users.
- Providing telephone reception and maintaining and updating all service information resources.
- Co-ordinating the taking and passing on of internal and external messages and assisting in the preparation of written reports, having due regard for confidentiality.
- Providing typing and word processing support for the staff team as necessary and taking and distributing minutes of meetings as required.
- Attending staff meetings, staff support groups and service meetings.

This is a permanent role requiring the post-holder to work 37.5 hours per week.

99 hours over a 3 week rota – on shift pattern including daytime, evenings and weekends, between 10.30am and 11.30pm
Salary Scale Point 23 + 1 £31,586.00 pa FTE
£27,795.68 per annum (33 hours per week)

The Sanctuary
Our Sanctuaries are based in Cambridge and Peterborough and provide a safe place for individuals to visit while experiencing mental health distress as an alternative to attending A&E. Support is provided either face to face, virtually or over the telephone using a person-centred, strengths-based approach.

The Deputy Manager will work with the Sanctuary Manager in creating an environment where the staff team can thrive, those accessing the service feel supported, and commissioning requirements are met. This includes
- Proven experience of supporting individuals experiencing mental health distress
- Excellent skills in collecting and reporting on data
- Proven experience of engaging, supporting and empowering staff through line management
- Proven ability to manage professional boundaries – to include line management experience
- Ability to work on own initiative and respond with flexibility
- Capacity to work flexible hours within an agreed shift pattern
- Full driving licence held and car owner/access to a car
Essential criteria:
- You must be able to show empathy and compassion with a non-judgemental approach
- You should be passionate about promoting positive mental health and have excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- You should be able to manage professional boundaries
