The Deputy CEO is a new post at METRO and, in essence, the Deputy CEO will be a recognisable face and voice of METRO within the context of the media, strategic alliances and high value donors, both statutory and non-statutory. Leading the organisation in the CEO’s absence, the Deputy CEO role will support outward facing work but will be equally trusted, credible and respected to lead all aspects of the charity’s internal operations.
The Deputy CEO will also be the guardian of the organisation’s integrity when it comes to delivering a meaningful and valuable experience for service users and funders.
The Deputy CEO must ensure that all METRO services make a positive difference for those who use METRO’s services and in the communities in which they are delivered, and that commitments to funders and commissioners are uphel
