METRO Charity delivers the Get it free condom distribution programme throughout Kent County and the district of Medway. The Get it free condom distribution scheme offers free condoms, information, and support to young people aged 13-21 via distribution sites, online ordering, and community outreach.
Get it is an innovative programme that has been built in collaboration with young people, and forms an integral part of the suite of sexual & reproductive health services delivered by METRO. METRO also offers both 1:1 and group support for the most vulnerable people living in Medway, including Men who have sex with Men (MSM), Boys and Young Men (BYM), Looked after children, young people with special educational needs, and those who identify as LGBTQ+, and delivers regular HIV testing amongst high risk communities.
The right candidate for this role will be a committed, organised, and flexible individual who is passionate about supporting systems that help young people and vulnerable members of society.
You will support the Kent & Medway sexual health team by assuming overall responsibility for the ordering and monitoring of stock and other resources, by posting free condoms each day to young people via our online service, and by accurately maintaining client management systems and electronic databases required for the programme to function and accurate reporting.
You will be able to communicate with a variety of agencies and young people, particularly around their use of the online free condom scheme. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to produce accurate records when required.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
