Swan Housing is looking for a new Independent Member of their Audit and Risk Committee, the board meetings are held at their East London office, Stratford.

You will be working alongside a newly appointed Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Contributing to the overall process for ensuring that an effective internal control system is maintained and that the Group has in place appropriate controls to safeguard its assets and manage risk. You will bring a fresh approach that will offer additional scrutiny to the group's financial performance, ensuring all regulatory guidelines are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and have had previous Non Executive experience or had noteworthy exposure to Non-Executive boards. You will be an established finance professional who has worked in or has knowledge of the social housing sector. A commercial outlook and understanding of what is needed for an ambitious organisation to deliver, is essential for this position.
