We are recruiting for a Lead Counsellor who will hold operational responsibility for the clinical management of Mid & North East Essex Minds counselling services, as well as supporting, motivating and performance managing counselling members. The Lead ensures high quality service delivery in line with good practice and professional requirements, monitors and evaluates impact and outcomes and establishes relevant processes. The Lead works closely with the Psychological Wellbeing Service Manager to develop appropriate services while ensuring BACP accreditation is maintained.
You will be working independently and with autonomy within defined operational policies and procedures, with support from the Psychological Wellbeing Service Manager, performing in accordance with BACP Ethics and Guidelines.
The post holder will also be required to deliver workshops and group work such as anger management, stress awareness and self-esteem which will provide specialist support for service users and will be required to work with other organisations to increase mental health awareness.
