Regional Trafficking Services Manager
Location: Paisley and Glasgow
Fixed-term contract until 31st March 2021
Full-time: 35 hours per week over 5 days
Salary: £33,500 per annum with an increase after successful probation

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Trafficking Services Manager within our Paisley office.
This vacancy is open to both internal and external applicants.
The scope of this role is to contribute to the overall success of our Organisation in accordance with Migrant Helps’ visions, values and objectives. The post-holder is expected, to provide the day to day management for the regional Victims of Trafficking Support Services (Scotland) and to ensure contractual/grant and statutory compliance on behalf of the organisation. The post-holder will ensure that quality standards are met and, where possible, exceeded. The post-holder is expected to maintain and develop excellent working relationships and referral procedures with, and between external stakeholders in order to improve the access to and quality of mainstream and specialist services for trafficking/modern slavery clients. They will work consistently to ensure the continuous development of the role and ensure that the service is delivered according to procedures and processes which are accurate, professional and consistent at all times.
The successful candidate will lead the Victims of Trafficking services for the region, responsible for day to day operational management of staff and services, managing workload allocation and delegating work appropriately to ensure effective delivery of service across the region. The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills to be able to engage with internal and external stakeholders and work with regional teams. They will motivate the team to work effectively and to a high standard, inspiring a positive attitude to client service and continuous improvement. They will take a continual service improvement approach to ensure the services remain responsive to client needs and in response to contractual, legislative or policy changes in the sector.
This post requires OISC Level 1 competence (or a willingness to achieve it) and is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and Counter Terrorism Check (CTC). The successful candidate with the support of their line manager, will be expected to take responsibility for their personal development (CPD) and identification of training needs through participation on Migrant Help Professional Development Review (SAA) programme. The post-holder requires flexibility to work unsocial hours by prior arrangement, travel throughout their specified region and travel in the UK as required.
