The Digital Organiser will play an integral role in organising and mobilising our members and supporters. They will help set up, manage and organise our lists of supporters and activate them in our advocacy campaigns, actions and elections. In collaboration with the Migrants Organise team, they will use online channels and digital tools to inspire people to take action and turn the resources they have into the power they need to make the change.
They will manage and keep up to date Migrants Organise’s websites (our main one and three campaign websites) using WordPress and Wix templates and support other organisers with content design and creation for our social media channels.
The ideal candidate will have skills and show initiative and interest in learning new technologies as well as patience and clarity for teaching them to staff, members and volunteers. Digital Organising is constantly changing, so our Organiser will be focused on knowing the latest trends and be constantly thinking of creative ways to connect with people online. In addition, they will be involved in relational organising and direct actions for a fair and just immigration system
