Mildmay is an international HIV+AIDS charity, specialising in care, training and service development within this field. Our vision is of a world in which everyone with HIV can have life in all its fullness. We work in the UK where we run a thriving hospital, and in East Africa where we run HIV focused public health programmes.
Our mission is to respond effectively to HIV and related health issues through specialised care, treatment, training, education and research. We aim to deliver services of the highest quality and constantly seek to improve through listening, reflecting, learning and action.
With a turnover of around £3.5m, we are moving from strength to strength, and are taking up new challenges. Following a period of change and challenge, during which time a new hospital was opened in London in 2014, we now have a stronger financial footing, with high demand for our services, and with a CQC overall rating of Outstanding.
This is an exciting time for the organisation, and we are now looking for a business-minded, strategic leader to build on the work already done, and take and deliver our vision through the next stages.
We would be delighted to hear from committed Christians* with prior experience of leading an organisation at a senior level, with an entrepreneurial approach and particular skills in financial and commercial management. You should be able to demonstrate strong analytical and strategic skills, alongside an interest in and commitment to the global HIV and AIDS sectors. A commitment to a multi-faith approach, and one which is inclusive of all marginalised communities is essential.
