The Finance team sits within the Infrastructure department and is made up of the Head of Finance and 14 team members.

We’re currently looking for a motivated Sales Ledger Assistant to support the work of the Finance team. This post will be working together with the Fundraising training team.

The Sales Ledger Assistant will take responsibility for raising all sales invoices in a timely manner and performing credit control on aging debts and reporting on it. This role will be working closely with colleagues across the charity to gather sales and income information and ensure that all invoice requests are captured in the finance system.

The Sales Ledger Assistant will work closely with colleagues across Mind to provide support on Workplace Wellbeing initiatives and projects and any other team requesting income invoices as required. This role will also require customer’s statements to be generated on a monthly basis and answer queries from customers/internal colleagues in relation to these.

You will have a good working experience within a fast-paced organisation where you have had the opportunity to multitask and work to stringent deadlines. You will have a good understanding of the charity sector, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong interpersonal and liaison skills and the ability to deliver multiple objectives to tight deadlines. You will have excellent reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
