Job description

Sanctuary Telephone Support Worker

The Sanctuary Crisis line is a new service for all residents within the Borough of Enfield experiencing emotional distress. The line operates between the hours of 12.00 – 22.00 seven days a week. We provide initial support meetings to immediately manage with the clients the distress they are in. We then coproduce support plans with clients and offer 121’s, counselling, peer support groups and workshops. It currently operates remotely via telephone and digital platforms. Face to face working may be required over time.

The Support worker will be experienced in working with people in distress or who have mental health issues, highly organised and have excellent people skills.

We are looking for one Telephone support worker for 19.5 hours per week, which will involve telephone support, and one to one follow up.

Salary: £23,500 - £25,000.
