Contract Length: 12 month fixed term

Living Well Salford service participants tell us that they welcome support from someone who has experience of what they are going through. Embedding people with lived experience within Living Well Salford offers people hope, aspiration and motivation through their recovery journey.  Paid Peer Mentors will support the self-realisation process and empower people to articulate their hopes and goals.

 Your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Working as part of and alongside the Living Well Salford Team to ensure peer mentoring is offered and delivered as an integral element of the service user journey. 
  • Support volunteers and the MDT in line with agreed competencies, including delivering training and supporting development.
  • Planning, facilitating and reporting one-to-one and group peer mentoring sessions with allocated service users who have identified that peer mentoring would be beneficial to their recovery.

An enhanced DBS check will be required.
