JOB TITLE: Deputy Operations Manager (Partnerships)

LOCATION: City and Hackney Recovery Service, 102-110 Mare Street, Hackney, E8 3SG

SALARY: £39,459 - £42,603 Per Annum

HOURS: Full Time – 37.5 Hours Per Week

CONTRACT: Permanent


The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take up a senior leadership position within the City and Hackney Recovery Service, a partnership between Turning Point, MIND and London Friend (Antidote). We are looking for a talented, resilient and dynamic leader to join the team during a period of transition to support the service to deliver on its potential and become a market-leading recovery service in London.


The Deputy Operations Manager (Partnerships) will oversee the Communities Team, the Detox/Rehab Pathway, the Rough Sleeping Teams for both Hackney and City of London as well as the service’s Safeguarding function. There is a significant element of service development and external partnership building required within the role and we are looking for a confident communicator able to create a positive impression of the service within a variety of settings with the political skills to be able to engage and influence key stakeholders within the local authorities of Hackney and the City of London.


We are looking for an individual who is passionate about improving vulnerable people’s lives in both boroughs and will advocate on behalf of service users and staff within local multi-agency forums. A non-judgmental and empathic attitude towards service users is essential and experience of change management and performance management is desirable as well as the personal drive to generate positive social change within the service and the community.
