Salary: SCP 23 £27 509 Pro Rata

The Friends Family & Carers Recovery Worker will provide specialist substance misuse interventions – using skills in assessment, safeguarding best practice, and robust case management - to a caseload of service users with wider family members who are impacted my their previous and current use of substances.

Working in partnership with external partners including Children’s Social Care, wider safeguarding partners, and internal colleagues in the City & Hackney Recovery Service, the post holder will work holistically to provide support and regular, recovery-focused interventions.

They will model and promote the recovery service’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and will engage the local communities through effective communication, transparency, and collaboration to promote recovery in all aspects of the service.
