Job description

35 Hours per week

We have big goals over the next few years.

We’re going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before.

Together we’ll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.

Will you join us?

The Data Insight team is passionate about harnessing the power of data to understand our supporters and lead decision-making in the organisation. We value curiosity and continuous learning and relish a data challenge! Your role will be not only to find answers but also to identify the right questions to ask, guiding colleagues to valuable and actionable insights. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to develop your analytical toolbox, using R, SQL and Power BI, refining your understanding of how and what to use and when.

As Data Insight Analyst, you will take on your own analysis projects, evaluating fundraising campaigns and other charity initiatives. You will also contribute to a suite of dashboards and reports designed to bring data and analytics to the fingertips of users, empowering them to identify insights and make more evidence-driven decisions themselves.

You will need:

  • Experience of using statistical methods to describe or make inferences about data.
  • Ability to communicate insights and results of data analyses by producing written reports, dashboards and presenting face-to-face.
  • Ability to work independently, using your own initiative, and as part of a team.
  • A strong intuition for how organisations function, and how data insight can contribute.
  • Be clear-thinking, with a creative and innovative approach to dealing with issues and problem solving.
