Job description

35 hours per week - Fixed term until 31 March 2021

We're Mind, the mental health charity. We provide life-changing information and support, online and in print. We're looking for an Editorial professional to join our friendly, established content team. Within this role, you will take responsibility for a variety of editorial tasks, for both print and online information products, including content development, commissioning and summarising external reviews, copyediting and proofing.

In addition, you will also research and write authoritative information content for external audiences as required, working with colleagues across the Information team to help deliver our information provision services.

About you

You’ve got a background in information editing and publishing and understand what it takes to create reliable, accessible, user-centred content. You’ll have high quality standards and an eye for detail, you can't stand jargon and you’re experienced in working closely with both subject experts and people with personal experience of the issues. A fan of Content Design, you’ll be confident using digital platforms and CMSs, and can pick up new ones quickly and importantly, you care deeply about supporting and empowering people with mental health problems.
