We’re looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to join this team of ten. You will provide amazing stewardship to supporters taking part in sporting events, undertake a range of administrative tasks and work with the team on event delivery; ensuring an incredible supporter experience, and raising vital funds.
About the role
The role entails:
- Delivering a supporter event experience that surpasses supporters’ expectations, in order to maximise the income raised.
- Undertaking a range of tasks, such as maintaining consoles, monitoring fundraising performance, creating HTML emails, ordering merchandise etc.
- Supporting the Senior Fundraising Officers in the delivery of events fundraising activity. This can include planning, writing briefs, generating marketing and stewardship communications, working with third party agencies, setting up web pages, reporting and analysing live activity and conducting evaluations.
- Liaising with internal teams and third-party suppliers to effectively deliver activities and achieve targets.
You will have good administrative and supporter care skills along with excellent organisational and communication skills to manage a varied and demanding workload. It’s a rewarding and varied role but also a demanding one, requiring you to use your initiative. You must also be a confident communicator, as you will representing Mind - which will involve some evening and weekend work.

This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home, with an expectation of being home based until November or until updated government guidelines are published. However, if / when government guidelines change the role may then revert to being office based, whilst retaining some flexible working options.
