Reporting to the Assistant Director of Fundraising, you will be responsible for developing and leading the strategy for Community & Events fundraising, establishing clear action plans and leading the team to deliver the strategy to meet income targets, whilst managing the budget to bring in over £12.5million with a spend of £3million.
Managing a team of 45 within the Community and Events Department and providing line management to 6 direct reports, you will work with staff across Mind, whilst creating a culture of innovation, both in terms of creating new products and initiatives and continuous improvement of working practices and processes.
We’re looking for candidates who have significant experience of planning, developing, implementing, delivering, evaluating and reviewing strategic and operation activities, with financial and budget knowledge within fundraising. You’ll have excellent IT skills to include MS Office packages, databases and above all excellent interpersonal and communication skills, managing relationships with external suppliers and a direct or indirect experience of mental health problems would be desirable, however is not essential.
