We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anybody experiencing a mental health problem and we campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
The Community, Events & Fundraising Development team sits within the Public Fundraising Unit and raises approximately £13m gross income per year for Mind’s work, of which £5.5m is generated from events fundraising.
The team has an exciting time ahead with a growing events fundraising portfolio. You will develop, manage and deliver a portfolio of running and challenge events to achieve net income targets. You will be responsible for setting and monitoring budgets, devising and delivering marketing plans, reporting on KPIs and evaluating events to make recommendations for further development of the fundraising portfolio.
You will lead a team to develop and deliver stewardship programmes for event fundraising participants to maximise their fundraising potential, overseeing the maintenance and improvement of administrative processes on the website, database and accounting systems.
You will also be responsible for line managing two, potentially three, Events Fundraising Coordinators, ensuring they meet their objectives including conducting regular supervisions and annual appraisals.
Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 30 March 2020.
