Finance Manager for a growing charity in Zone 1

A growing London-based charity is seeking an experienced Qualified Finance Manager to join their finance team to manage the finance function of the organisation.

The applicant must be qualified.

Reporting directly into and working closely with the Director, you will enjoy a very high level of responsibility and autonomy.

This is an excellent chance to build upon previous experiences and develop your career within a well-known organization, by taking a hands-on role within the finance function of the charity.

This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate handling a varied workload, ranging from risk management, preparing accounts on a monthly and annual basis, debt management, financial planning, budgeting, reporting and preparing the Statutory accounts.

Qualified accountant who has good understanding of the charity SORP, VAT, taxation and company legislation is essential. Candidate must have previous charity experience, be flexible, adaptable and comfortable to hit the ground running

Qualifications/experience required

ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualified.

Experience of working in a ‘hands on’ role in a charitable  organisation.
