Job description

I have an excellent Interim Assistant HR Business Partner - Change role with a regulatory body based in London, but the role can be carried out on hybrid-working basis predominantly remotely.  This role is to the end of December 2022 initially and will report to the Senior HR Business Partner.

The role will pay £40,451 per year and will involve work related to organisation-wide transformation and change, which you must have experience of, to deliver a business focused HR service that meets the needs of the Transformation Programme. You will work in partnership with HR team and subject matter experts to support the delivery of the end to end delivery of HR processes in line with the organisations Managing Organisational Change Policy. You will also work closely as part of the Transformation Programme’s Integrated Implementation Plan (IIP) for the new organisation structure with a consultant delivery partner team.  The post holder will also be required to deputise for the Senior HR Business Partner – Change, in relation to these areas of work as required.           

Some key responsibilities and results areas include:

  • To quickly and effectively build and maintain strong and credible relationships with HR colleagues and subject matter experts, and senior managers within the Transformation Programme to ensure the HR project plan aligns with the HR critical path within the IIP.
  • To oversee the review and progression of the HR project plan working closely with HR colleagues leading on specific processes/or activities, inc:
    1. To plan the evaluation all new roles in the organisation using the Civil Service Job Evaluation Grading scheme.
    2. To plan and co-ordinate the implementation of the mapping and job matching, paper-based selection and interview selection processes.
    3. To plan and co-ordinate the redeployment process following mapping and matching process alongside the internal selection process.
  • To advise, as required, on organisational change initiatives in line with policy and legal frameworks.
  • To contribute to strategic HR projects to support the Implementation IIP, as agreed with Senior HR Business Partner - Change.
