We are recruiting for an IT Infrastructure candidate to successfully deliver an excellent technical service and the provision of robust solutions to ensure a high infrastructure availability to our Charity client with locations all over the UK travelling where required.
The IT Infrastructure and Support team provide excellent services across all IT systems and equipment to ensure the organisation can be successful in achieving its mission and goals. This will be achieved by reducing complexity and ensuring an effective and secure infrastructure exists to support the development of services and technology.
The successful applicant will proactively record, review and design the infrastructure to agreed standard and methodologies, monitoring systems and problem solving any degradation of service to deliver an infrastructure that is designed around the needs and aims of the charity, as well as driving performance improvements and problem solution using new technologies.
They will also work to create a supportive environment where the Infrastructure staff can feel supported and their opinions valued and where the Helpdesk team can be confident passing issues across and be part of the solution provided.
You will be responsible for supervising one Analyst.
To be successful in this role you will have an in depth understanding of IT Services (Networks, On-premise Infrastructure, Cloud infrastructure in Azure/AWS etc), with a broad range of technical infrastructure knowledge and awareness of emerging technologies.
You will have experience of identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and issues, with proven success in working closely with business representatives to fully understand and document requirements, managing expectations and negotiating requirements.
The role will be remote initially as they continue to be home based under COVID-19. However, the candidate should be able to commute into their Central London office in the long term.
