You will play a lead strategic role in this dynamic INGO, helping us to increase our influence and ensure excellent wheelchair service provision in countries like Kenya, India, Malawi and Uganda.
As well as convening Motivation’s Clinical Advisory Group, you will engage with other external partners around the latest developments and best practice in seating, postural management and wheelchair service provision. You will also provide clinical input to our design and development processes to ensure that our products are fit for purpose.
Motivation has set itself an ambitious goal of localising clinical expertise and leadership in our Africa- and India-based teams, and this role is central to our work to set and maintain clinical standards, support the wellbeing and reflective practice of the clinical and technical team, and help us identify and bridge gaps in capacity.
You will be clinically active and have: an organised and enquiring mind; strong interpersonal skills; a relevant professional qualification; significant experience in seating and postural management; knowledge of the management of conditions such as spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy and spina bifida; experience of training design and delivery; and experience of leading and developing teams.
