Care Improvement Programme Lead

Salary: c.£45,000 plus company benefits

Location: Hybrid working / Home-based

Hours: 37 hours per week

The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association has an exciting opportunity for a Care Improvement Programme Lead to join our Care Improvement Team.

This vacancy has the option to be a full-time, home-based role or hybrid working between home and our National Office in Northampton.

About the role

This vital role will be responsible for the co-design, development, and effective delivery of our portfolio of care improvement work aligned to the Association's strategy to improve outcomes and experience for people with MND.

You will be supporting National and Regional Care teams to deliver agreed change and improvement initiatives, including with health and care partners in third and statutory sectors, specifically improving access to multidisciplinary care, including design and delivery of our Care Centre and Network Programme and integrated care pathways with community specialist services for people with MND.

What are we looking for?

It is pivotal that the successful candidate has an excellent understanding of UK Health and Social Care systems, including general level of education at degree or the equivalent level of attainment gained through professional experience. You will possess strong Leadership and management experience of delivering improvement, ideally within the third sector and / or Health and Social Care systems.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade, is essential to influence and where appropriate challenge with tact and diplomacy.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of successful implementation of sustained change using change methodologies, with deep expertise in Quality Improvement (QI) frameworks/approaches.
