The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association are looking for a Database Selections Officer to join our Data and Insights Team at our national office in Northampton, where we operate a trusting, collaborative, and agile working environment.
Salary: c.£23,000 per annum plus benefits
Location: Northampton with Agile working
Hours: Full time 37 hours per week

About the role
The Database Selections Officer will work with the Selections and Data Analyst to deliver our marketing data selection and communication programme. You will work with teams across the association, running multiple, concurrent selections and supporting the design and documentation of existing and new procedures to achieve greater efficiency in our use of the databases - Raiser's Edge and Dynamics 365.
You will provide database support to the Association including resolving incoming data team requests, data cleansing, ensuring our data remain GDPR complaint, providing ad-hoc reports and other tasks to support the Data and Insights Teams.
What are we looking for?
You will be driven by data and have a passion to work collaboratively and analytically to produce insightful results. You will have experience of creating mailing data using CRMs preferably Raiser's Edge and Microsoft Dynamics 365, together with experience of delivering complex data selections against a brief using FastStats or equivalent software.
Your key essential skills will be:
- Microsoft Excel or Access, including formulas and data manipulation.
- Highly numerate and literate.
- Highly accurate work style with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions.
- Ability to manage several tasks and deadlines concurrently.
- Ability to work individually and effectively within a team.
- Understanding of Data Protection regulations.
