Job description

As we move through an extremely exciting transformation period with a brand-new organisational strategy and focus. We are looking for an experienced passionate Marketing Manager to join a newly structured Marketing and Brand team to support the organisation in putting our audiences at the centre of everything we do.

About this job 
This role will focus on ensuring we are always being led by insights from people affected by MS in order to meet their needs and beyond. We want to ensure we are empowering our community as well as providing a platform as well as being a powerful voice for our community. Working with our community will be central to all our actions.

We’ll create a clear and purposeful brand story that everyone can understand and talk about that will provide a more consistent experience of the MS Society.

The Marketing Manager – ‘Advanced MS’, will take a lead on ensuring the quality, consistency and strategic development of our marketing for people with and affected by MS at a more advanced stage in their condition. They will be responsible for engaging with the following MS Community segments; Learning to manage my MS, Living with MS for many years. Within these segments they will be responsible for ensuring that we are led by insights, raising awareness and understanding of the MS Society, growing our supporter base, driving action and ultimately bringing these audiences closer to our charitable purpose.

The MS Society is in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on our great history and will drive us towards achieving our mission and vision as we embark on our new 5 year strategy.

Part of this exciting transformation will include an office move for our current National Centre in Cricklewood, NW London to a different location in London. We are currently defining where and what type of accommodation this will be and we really want our staff to be involved in that decision and therefore we don’t envisage a move before Sept 2020.
