Job Description

We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Head of Fundraising & Partnerships to successfully develop and implement the Fundraising Strategy for Music in Hospitals & Care (MiHC) under the guidance and direction of the Chief Executive.

This newly created post will play a key role in strengthening and diversifying our income streams to grow fundraising income across trusts & foundations, business partnerships, legacies, appeals, digital and individual donors to deliver long term income stability for MiHC.

Working in a small, friendly and dynamic team located throughout the UK, the post holder will report directly into the Chief Executive and will line manage a team of four. Key responsibilities will include leadership and development of the team, and management of a portfolio of donors including charitable trusts, funding partners and key volunteers.

Collaborating with internal teams to achieve shared goals, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape our fundraising, prioritising activity to maximise the return on our investment whilst enjoying the practical side of developing partnerships and engaging with supporters.

It’s an exciting time to join MiHC as we look to build on our portfolio of income generation to facilitate the delivery of live music concerts across the UK. We would love to hear from you if you are passionate about helping us to bring joy through live music, can inspire action, are confident, have experience of building relationships and growing income streams; and have great communication and organisation skills.

Location will be flexible and could be in any of our office locations (Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester or Walton-on-Thames) or home based.
