Researcher - Ex-service personnel in the criminal justice system

Location - London/flexible

Salary - £27,767 (plus up to £5000 area weighting if applicable)

Job Type - Full time 1 year contract

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Nacro as a Researcher on project examining the processes and mechanisms in place to identify ex-service personnel in the criminal justice system in England, Wales and Scotland, as well as the barriers to uptake of support. The postholder will form part of a team on a project led by Nacro and in partnership with the Institute for Public Safety, Crime and Justice and the Institute for Social Innovation and Impact at the University of Northampton, and funded by the Forces in Mind Trust

Experienced in undertaking and delivering high quality research projects you will conduct quantitative and qualitative research with stakeholders including ex-service personnel and the professionals working with them.

This new role sits within the External Engagement Directorate at Nacro and will work closely with our research partners at the University of Northampton.
